The Fruits of Spirit

Image
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance; against such there is no law."  ~ Galatians 5:22,23 ~ When we eat of the Tree of Life (Presence of God) within us i.e. when we meditate on harmony, peace, love, joy and inspiration, we are absorbing these truths so that they become automatically expressed in our lives in the same way as a piece of bread is transmuted into flesh and blood.  As you incorporate the truths of God in your subconscious mind, you will suddenly discover all sorts of wonders happening in your life. Remember, all evil ultimately destroys itself.  The mills of the gods grind slowly, but they grind exceedingly fine.  Your faith and confidence in the good will be amply rewarded here and now. ~ Joseph Murphy ~ Credit & Copyright of photo: NPOD

Who Is God? I AM.

Image
I came across, by pure chance, this wonderful book called "The Impersonal Life" by Joseph S Benner when I subscribed to one of Wayne W Dwyer's video series teachings. Wayne had talked at length about this book and, infact this series was all about the "I AM" teachings. Without wasting another moment, I ordered a copy because I was intrigued at all that I was hearing.  It caught my interest particularly for the reason that I was going through a phase where I was seeking something bigger to show up. I was ready and willing to to be open to new challenges.  I was ready for change. Its not that I have never heard any "I AM" teachings - I have - but this version just knocked my socks off! God becomes available in a very personal way and I felt it showed up because I was ready for Him to teach me more deeper lessons. It appears to be the next best logical step and a perfect opportunity for deeper explorations. It starts off this way: "To you, ...

Stepping Into The Game of Life

Image
"And here you are, Soul aweary and enhungered,  and not knowing where to turn -  To You, I Am come."  ~ The Impersonal Life ~ "Who are You God, and who am I?" is a question that rolls around in my mind endlessly, and it is also the title of this blog.  It's a Life Question that directs my path everyday.  I have recently started this new blog separate from my previous ones because for me this phase of my life feels new and changing every moment.  I am so grateful for All That Is this moment. This is like my own spiritual journal and in order for it to make reasonable sense for anyone reading it, I have decided to start way back as much as I can without droning on about the past.  Our pasts are important and sacred because they form the marrow in the bone of our Soul travels and they prompt us to make different choices from the ones we have been making previously.  So here's to me and to You - May we learn to master The Game of Life....

Neither This Nor That

“Anyone who has ever been the means of a spiritual healing knows that this is true and that his individual mind, as it is imbued with Truth, becomes a law of renewal, regeneration, or reformation expressing as physical, mental, moral, or financial healing to those who come to him. As troubled people bring their problems to us, if we are able to see the person or condition as neither good nor evil, sick nor well, rich nor poor, that is, see him without judgment, we then no longer have a carnal mind, but are in full possession of the mind which was in Christ Jesus — a mind which recognizes only one power, an unconditioned mind — and it dispels the illusions of sense. We do not have to get rid of or overcome the carnal mind; we do not have to destroy it: We only have to understand that our mind is a perfect instrument for the Soul, and this it becomes as we fill our mind with spiritual truth and grace. ~ Joel Goldsmith ~

Be True to The Self Within

Image
"Be True to The Self no matter what happens" commanded her Soul.  This command came as a sudden impulse to jump up from her lethargy and start a new personal trail of Self Love and as she physically jumped up from her bed, she knew this was no ordinary command or calling.  This was her Soul imploring her to be done with the procrastination.  She got stuck somewhere along the line and fear kept her rooted to the ground causing a lot of self doubt, self criticism and a lack of faith in a Power that was always constantly acting as her North Star, guiding her to push beyond her present state of lethargy.  And she felt the deepest desire she ever knew to answer that Call because it was an ancient clarion call beckoning her to take up her rightful, loving, and adoring place in the Arms of God with deeper devotion.  Since then she  has been vibrating with new resolve, a new love, a new dedication and a new determination which involves everyone an...

Introspection

Image
Feelings and emotions are great pointers in life. They act as check posts in my life.  Each day I would like to create new things - new perspectives, new habits, new beliefs, etc. but before I do that I have to examine the old and dominant ones that seem to be running my life unconsciously. Introspection is a great way to help me navigate my life in the direction I want. There is no right and/or wrong direction. There is just a direction and all any direction can do is present me with multiple opportunities to choose from. Introspection is a strong pillar to build up oneself.  It allows me to look at my life in its rawest and most open way that reflects both light and shadow. When shadows are played with, they form their own beautiful stories. I have seen some incredible stage shows that create magic through shadows on a plain background. They create an other-worldly effect. Both Light and Shadow can be embraced through introspection. The question "Who are You, God...

A String of "Holy Instants"

Image
It all finally made sense here in this heavenly, God-Awesome place called Tungnath. The unmistakable Power and Presence of God in these holiest of holy mountains has to be experienced intimately and personally. When you are so high up there, it is very easy to believe in the existence of God.  There is only God.  There is no opposing power called evil.  The concept of evil is a myth, the all time most believed illusion, and the lie that most of us are mesmerized by. Let the question then, "Who are You God. And Who Am I?" be the burning flame in my heart   till it becomes the answer that awakens me fully to this simple but the most deepest and profound Truth.  According to Wikipedia, Tungnath is the highest Shiva temple in the world and is one of the five and the highest Panch Kedar temples located in the mountain range of Tunganath in Rudraprayag district, in the Indian state of Uttarakhand.  The Tunganath (literal meaning: Lord of the peaks) ...
